Excess Charge Notices & Appeals

Local Parking Security can issue an 'Excess Charge Notice" for vehicles that are parked without authorisation in one of our managed car parks.

You can also call our 24 hour payment line on 0844 474 0904 and pay by credit or debit card.

Alternatively you can send a cheque or postal order made payable to 'Local Parking Security Ltd', and post to:

Please quote your 'Excess Charge Notice Number' and your vehicle registration number. If you require a receipt, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

Appealing your Excess Charge Notice

If you have received an 'Excess Charge Notice' and you believe it has been issued incorrectly and wish to appeal you must do so within 14 days of date of issue.

Once your appeal has been received, a decision will be made and you will be notified.  If you are not satisfied with the decision you have the right to appeal to POPLA, please ask one of our operatives for further information on how to do this.

By law we are also required to inform you that Ombudsman Services (www.ombudsman-services.org/) provides an alternative dispute resolution service that would be competent to deal with your appeal.  However, we have not chosen to participate in their alternative dispute resolution service.  As such should you wish to appeal then you must do so to POPLA.
