Appealing your Parking Charge Notice

If you have received a 'Parking Charge Notice' and you believe it has been issued incorrectly and wish to appeal you must do so within 28 days of date of issue.

If you would like to appeal your 'Parking Charge Notice', you can do so by emailing: appeals@localparkingsecurity.co.uk

Please quote your 'Parking Charge Notice Number' and your vehicle registration number.

Once your appeal has been received, a decision will be made and you will be notified within 14 working days.  If you are not satisfied with the decision you have the right to appeal to POPLA.

By law we are also required to inform you that Ombudsman Services (www.ombudsman-services.org/) provides an alternative dispute resolution service that would be competent to deal with your appeal.  However, we have not chosen to participate in their alternative dispute resolution service.  As such, should you wish to appeal then you must do so to POPLA.

You cannot pay and appeal your Parking Charge Notice. If you do wish to appeal your PCN and have already paid, the payment will not be reimbursed and the case will be considered closed.

Reimbursement for payment will only occur under mitigating circumstances or where LPS deem the PCN to have been issued in error.
